Behavioral Health Integration Training: Call for Applications

August 1, 2013 PCPCI

The Patient-Centered Primary Care Institute (PCPCI) is pleased to announce a new training opportunity: We are looking for 24 – 30 practices in Oregon to participate in a training series offered by a national expert on integrating behavioral health in primary care settings in October 2013.

In these sessions Patricia J. Robinson, PhD, of Mountainview Consulting Group will provide comprehensive training on brief, evidenced-based behavioral health interventions designed for primary care settings. Truly integrated behavioral health involves the entire practice team, so this training includes different levels of participation for several critical team members:

• Full-day introductory session for up to three practice staff, including the behavioral health provider

• Four more days of intensive training for the behavioral health provider

Trainings will be repeated twice in the fall of 2013 - once in Portland, once in Bend. Space is limited; practices interested in participating must fill out an application, which is due no later than Friday, August 30, 2013.

More detailed information about the training, a compilation of frequently asked questions, a link to the application and an invitation to two August webinars on the Primary Care Behavioral Health model can be found on the PCPCI website.
