A summary of the resource materials available to Patient Advisory Council members as part of the Patients and Families as Leaders Initiative.

In June 2010, Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation brought together health care professionals, community leaders, patients/families, community foundations and administrators for a workshop to discuss and learn about organizations and individuals that were transforming health care through patient involvement and decision-making in health care leadership. It was a great opportunity for attendees to share information and explore common issues/strategies used to improve patient/family involvement.
