Q Corp Selects a New Data Partner

Portland Oregon – Q Corp is excited to announce it has selected a new data partner to support its Data Collaborative – an administrative claims database, used to produce quality, utilization and cost reports for consumers, providers, health plans, policymakers and employers. Onpoint Health Data, a Portland, Maine-based nonprofit with 30 years of experience working with large health care datasets, and Q Corp are partnering to deliver the next generation of health care data for Oregonians.

With this partnership, Q Corp expects significant improvements to the timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of the data supplied to Q Corp – enabling new products, services, and increased value in the reports and analyses Q Corp currently provides.

 

About Onpoint Health Data

Onpoint Health Data is a Portland, Maine-based nonprofit focused on delivering health care data solutions.  With a history stretching back to the mid-1970s as the Maine Health Information Center, Onpoint Health Data currently provides data management and analytic services to public and private initiatives, including several All Payer Claims Databases (APCDs).  Its mission to provide high-quality data to the healthcare community complements Q Corp’s mission of producing unbiased information for our stakeholders in Oregon. About the Q Corp Data Collaborative

The Data Collaborative managed by Q Corp is a voluntary collaboration between CMS, Medicaid, and the majority of Commercial health plans in the state of Oregon.  Containing over 577 million health care claims data records, stretching back over 10 years, and covering 83% of Oregonians, it provides a uniquely rich, deep dataset more comprehensive than could be housed by any individual health plan.
